Guggenheim CIO Scott Minerd Dies


Guggenheim CIO Scott Minerd, who is frequently on the agenda with Bitcoin predictions, died after a heart attack.

One of the prominent names of Wall Street, Minerd was generally known for his extreme predictions about Bitcoin.

Guggenheim CIO Dies at 63

Minerd, who served as chief investment officer at his company, was also known for his complex comments on Bitcoin. The famous name of the financial world died at the age of 63 after a heart attack.

Minerd’s death was announced by the Guggenheim.

The CEO of the company, Mark Walter, used the following statements in his statement:

“Scott was a key thought leader who was instrumental in making Guggenheim Investments a global company”

Minerd had made quite complex comments about the BTC price. For example, while the asset was trading around $20,000 in December 2020, he stated that the asset should be worth $400,000.

He said that while the price of the asset was at $29,000 in May, it could fall as low as $8,000.

Minerd also expressed regret that he missed the rise of SHIB during the bull rally.
