Alameda Research Reveals $400 Million Loan To An SBF-Linked Company

-

It turned out that Alameda Research has made a $400 million loan to Modula Capital, which is affiliated with Sam Bankman-Fried.

Modulo Capital, a relatively unknown firm that appears to have a lot in common with Sam Bankman-Fried and formerly Alameda CEO Caroline Ellison, has secured a $400 million loan from Alameda Research.

Alameda Research Scandals Rising

Modulo Capital was founded by three former Jane Street traders who employed SBF and Ellison before entering the crypto industry. The company operates in a luxury building in the Bahamas where SBF and Ellison reside.

This $400 million investment in Modulo Capital was among the largest investments made by Alameda. Modulo Capital also met with other financial investors before Alameda, according to anonymous sources.

SBF was arrested on 12 December in the Bahamas for crimes such as fraud and money laundering. The SBF has agreed to extradition to the United States to face charges.
