German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benzwill once again benefit from blockchain technology with metaverse and NFT.
It is not the first time that Mercedes-Benz has entered the crypto space, applying for a new trademark. Daimler South East Asia, part of the Mercedes-Benz Group, announced in July Acentrik, a data sharing network based on blockchain technology that will leverage the Ethereum Layer-2 scalability platform Polygon to launch its product. Now, Hyundai has taken a new step to benefit from the blessings of the digital world alongside giant automakers such as BMW, Renault and Nissan.
Mercedes-Benz Files Metaverse and NFT Trademark Application
Multinational automotive company Mercedes-Benz Group AG is stepping into the digital space with NFTs and the metaverse.
The filing, filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on December 14, emerged in a tweet from Michael Kondoudis, a trademark attorney with license to NFT and metaverse, on December 19.

According to Kondoudis, trademark applications for “Mercedes Benz, Mercedes, S-Class, G-Class and Maybach” include, among others, digital currency, NFTs, retail stores and cryptocurrency for virtual vehicle parts. Includes licenses for trading.
